§2 · Reading

The subject changes. The argument does not.

Clothing, a store, a fitness brand, an app, a room. In each, the thing itself is table stakes; what a person feels in its presence is the work.

Method

Each line is quoted from a dated file: brand plans, a business school essay, decks and product notes. Capitals in the source decks are set in sentence case. Ellipses mark cuts. Venture names and employers are withheld.
